The long weekend is almost here and the city has risen to the occasion with an unwieldy number of excellent shows to check out.
Transit Bar are celebrating their return with a huge outdoor festival. Headlined by the loveable Dune Rats, some of Canberra’s finest in Sputnik Sweetheart, Parklands, Slow Dial, and Slagatha Christie will be spilling out into the venue’s back alley on Sunday evening.
UC Refectory is equally busy this weekend, with Aussie hip hop duo Bliss N Eso and hottest musical commodity in the country right now Spacey Jane both taking to the stage across Friday and Saturday night.
Harmonie German Club is hosting its International Women’s Day celebration on Saturday. All funds raised from the show, which features the likes of AYA YVES, Lady Denman, LIV LI, Matriarch, nonbinarycode and more, will be heading to UN Women Australia on behalf of International Women’s Day Canberra.
