Do you nurse a burning desire to pick up a harmonica and play some wailing blues riffs?
Here’s your chance. Tony ‘Mouth from the South’ Maguire is holding a half-day beginners’ workshop at the Statesman Hotel in Curtin on Sunday June 7.
Tony (pictured) promises he’ll get you playing tasty-sounding riffs within the first 15 minutes on his song Spearfishin’ Blues.
“It’s amazing how easy the harmonica is to play if you start off with the right material,” he says.
Tony has taught eight to 80-year-olds to play blues ‘harp’ at workshops around Australia. His last ACT workshop was in 2007, also at the Statesman. “It was a sell-out,” says Tony.
Called Introduction to the Harmonica, the session runs 11:30am–3:30pm. It costs $125 including lunch, practice CD and gleaming-new Hohner Silver Star harmonica. If you book early, the price is just $99.
BOOK NOW! Don’t miss this rare opportunity to learn harmonica the EASY way.
