Suspected murder tree pre-emptively chainsawed in Banks

By johnboy - 4 December 2011 6

The ACT State Emergency Service (ACTSES) has responded to Banks tonight where a large tree is in danger of falling on a house.

The ACTSES Tuggeranong unit is on scene in Pocket Avenue working with the help of the ACT Fire & Rescue Bronto aerial platform to cut down the 12 metre long tree that has become unstable because of heavy winds.

A crew from the ACTSES Woden unit is also on scene providing lighting as the task is expected to take up to several hours to complete.

I always wondered whether innocent until proven guilty applied to the plant kingdom…

I’d go the other way … pre-emptive imprisonment for the spawn of criminal scum before they get the chance to graduate to being criminal scum in their own right. Better still, retrospective abortion.
