The ABC brings word that the doctors have ruled out a return to the Brumbies playing ranks for Julian Huxley.
- “Brumbies coach Andy Friend said that Huxley is taking some time out from his role as the club’s kicking coach to deal with the news that his comeback bid, and possibly his career, is over.
“We won’t see him return to rugby this year,” Friend said.
The comeback bid always had an air of wishful thinking to it.
He’s now taking time out from coaching to do “soul-searching”, which sounds a bit dangerous to me.
