Thinking Differently About Heritage - an afternoon lecture at Albert Hall

The National Trust are hosting an afternoon lecture “Thinking Differently About Heritage”. Former Commissioner of the National Capital Development Commission Tony Powell will be the guest speaker at the event.

In addition to his role as the NCDC Commissioner, Mr Powell was Chairman of the Darwin Reconstruction Commission post Cyclone Tracy (1975) and a leading town planner for the NSW State Planning Authority. His extensive experience in city development and reconstruction shapes his unique insights into the development of our capital. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions of Mr Powell. The subject matter will be an interesting topic during this year of celebrating Canberra’s heritage.

Date: Sunday 21 April 2013
Venue: Albert Hall, Commonwealth Ave, Canberra
Timing: 2.30 for 2.45 start. Close by 4pm
Refreshments: Tea, coffee & biscuits will be available before & after the presentation Cost: Gold Coin donation on entry and for tea and coffee.
