One hopes Canberra Raiders fans really, really enjoy watching Ricky Stuart complain, because it can’t be good for a side watching the boss making excuses for them before The Ashes are decided.
In the SMH Coach Stuart is already bellyaching about the 2014 draw:
Canberra coach Ricky Stuart believes Raiders fans have copped a raw deal after the club was allocated just one home game in its first five matches next year.
While Stuart said the players would not use this as an excuse, he questioned why supporters had to wait until round three against Gold Coast Titans before they could watch their team play at home.
My advice to Ricky Stuart:
To quote The Bard:
Things without all remedy. Should be without regard.
Will the whinge get the draw changed? No.
So what does it achieve other than giving the players a sense of victimhood?
The same goes for complaining about referees.
Is the result of the game going to be changed after the match? No.
So stop the culture of victimhood.
Build a culture of enabled and empowered individuals who can triumph through adversity.
Adapt and Overcome.
And for gods sake stop running off to mum with tears running down your cheeks for a blub.
