In a week in which the ABC is reporting on local Liberal leadership tensions it is interesting to see Vicki Dunne post her musings on the nature of patriotism and in education not once but twice (on one occasion with an author listed as “commentary”).
Personally I’m always gladdened to see the word “mountebank” used seriously in a sentence (even if it is rather spoiled by the preceding “utter”) but I wonder if her target (the premier of NSW) is going to lose any sleep over it.
In many ways the release reads more like an op-ed piece than a press release especailly as it seems to contain no actual position on the subjects it addresses (although it does seem to run against Federal Liberal policy on values in government schools).
Someone new in Vicki’s office?
