A new app will give Club Lime and hiit republic members unprecedented ease of accessing their favourite health and fitness facility.

The launch of the Club Lime Member ID app is another exciting milestone for its fast-growing operator Viva Leisure, a technology-focused Australian health club owner. Thanks to the app, members will now enjoy keyless entry into 24/7 clubs via members’ mobile phones.

Club Lime Member ID is an Australian-first and is part of Viva Leisure’s commitment to continually improve the member experience. The Android and iOS native app allows members access to any Club Lime and hiit republic facility by simply tapping their phone on the dedicated reader located at the entrance of each facility.

Technology has kept Viva Leisure at the forefront of the personal health and fitness industry, and the ID app, the first of its kind for a major operator within this sector in Australia, is continuing the trend.

With a mission to connect health and fitness to as many people as possible, Viva Leisure today engages with more than 50,000 members in a growing footprint throughout eastern Australia.

The app opens a new era of available options. It means members no longer need to carry their access pass, keyring fob or membership card. Their mobile phone with Club Lime Member ID app is all the accreditation they need.

Viva Leisure Managing Director Harry Konstantinou has welcomed the latest innovation.

“Our data told us that members wished to visit our facilities carrying as little as possible, with a large proportion attending with just their phone and headphones,” Harry says.

“The more conducive and accommodating we can be to this trend, the better we can serve our community and their health and fitness goals.

“The launch of our unique Club Lime Member ID app will make our members’ experience seamless day and night. Our health clubs allow members to come and work out, de-stress, socialise, and start or finish their day on an energy high.

“The easier and more accessible we can make that experience, the better for everyone,” Harry says.

“Viva Leisure is the first major health club operator and brand in Australia to build and launch this technology. It is available at all locations immediately.”

Founded in 2004, Viva Leisure provides its members with affordable, accessible and awesome health clubs and aquatic facilities. It listed on the Australian Stock Exchange earlier this year and has out-performed growth forecasts across all aspects of the industry.

Viva Leisure offers customers several different membership options and a range of spaces from big-box fitness to boutique fitness facilities. The Company currently operates more than 40 health clubs within the ACT, NSW and Victoria, with the majority operating under the Club Lime brand.
