One of Wikipedia’s featured articles is on Lake Burley Griffin. (only 1 in 970 articles on the encyclopedia are featured).

They also have a category for Canberra related articles, with 103 articles, plus others in the subcategories.

It helped that wiki took all the info from the CIA factbook because its not copyrighted (im referring to the Register article)

The Register had an interesting piece yesterday about the growth in the wiki project’s authority.

We link to it a lot because it’s open to all. It also tends to aggregate local knowledge in a way traditional encyclopedia can’t match.
