Yesterday’s Raiders game at Canberra Stadium against the Penrith Panthers was best described by this article in today’s Sydney Morning Herald.

‘When you are off your game, like Canberra were yesterday, you need an opposition that is going even worse if you still hope to win. Enter Penrith.’

The Raiders certainly were not flashy. Simon Woolford was the standout performer for the Raiders, scoring 2 tries to secure a 22-14 win over the Panthers. With a points differential of -35, it will be a big ask for the Raiders to make the finals this year.

Look like Germ finally pulled his finger out. Good for him.

I stand corrected (for now).

Here’s hoping they can sneak into the finals.

Good news about Jason Smith as well; we were struggling without him. I just hope there’s another season left in those old bones.
