Zombies

Those crazy cats behind all of Canberra’s best foam related events are at it again with a massive zombies versus NERF battle planned for the 24th of August.

I’ve gone and witnessed these guys in action and you couldn’t hope for a more welcoming and fun group to play with, so if you’ve got the slightest interest in zombies, NERF guns, war games, or just trying new weird fun things, you should definitely head along and fight for your life alongside them.

Check out their Facebook page for more info.

‘Humans Versus Zombies’ themed foam dart tag, done the Canberra “Haig Park Special” style! The zombie virus has escaped from the Black Mountain laboratories, and it is up to you to keep them contained at the peninsula.

The HvZ themed games are the most popular style of ‘Nerf’ game we run, a series of short to medium length games of tag using foam dart blasters (Nerf, Buzzbee etc). These games are great for all ages, and perfect for people looking to get a taste of the Canberra Nerf scene.
There is little to no financial outlay required to join in on our games. We don’t charge for playing, and if you don’t own a blaster then there’s often more than enough spare to go around.

Location:
John Cardiff Close on Black Mountain Peninsula. Same place as the Hundred Swords orc battle was.

Blaster regulations:
-Sensibly modded blasters OK (if you’re not willing to be shot point blank in the face with it, it’s probably not okay to use).
-Stock darts only.
-Eye protection compulsory!!!!
-Blaster paintjob restrictions in place (It must look like a toy; no black/camo/steampunk/realistic paintjobs). If you’re unsure, bring it and we’ll check it on the day.

Mark your darts and blasters before the day!!
Bring your own darts!! Don’t expect club darts, because there’s not enough to go around these days.
