My colleagues and I were having a discussion: the talk drifted from the movie Feast to Watchman to exploding people to instead just putting them to sleep onto the Spiderman villain Sandman (made of sand) then to the Capt’n Snooze guy.
I would like to find a picture of Capt’n Snooze to remember exactly what he looked like and I am not having any luck…can anyone help?
Do you remember? The one with the red hat and beard (if my memory serves me correctly). Was he a local creation? We remembered the ads being pretty homemade. The company is just called Snooze now.
[ED – Snooze is now a national franchise with, according to their website, over 70 stores nation wide. It’s 30 years old and, after consulting with the Riot Ancients, can confirm that it was in Canberra at least near the beginning so it may have had its roots here. Capt’n Snooze was none other than Rod Quantock.]
