Bad News ANUSs!
The Canberra Times is reporting that the snob value is going to take a hit with entry cores being slashed across the board as Uni’s nationwide come to grips with declining enrollments.
ANU vice-chancellor Professor Ian Chubb will announce today a scheme to cut entry scores by eight points for eight general arts, business and science degrees, guaranteeing all applicants with a Universities Admission Index of 75 or above a spot.
From next year the university will also relax cut-off scores for two specialised degrees and extend an entry “guarantee” for three, in engineering, Asian studies and medical science.
