The Canberra Times has inside word that after a diabolically bad week Chief Minister Gallagher is spreading the ministerial load by bringing the fast tracked green MLA Chris Bourke to the Cabinet table.
Apparently he’ll be taking the education portfolio, not health.

I wonder how well Dr Bourke’s years of examining people’s mouths have prepared him for the responsibilities of running a troubled public education system.
He seems well to the left of Barr, which is a shame. The AEU’s influence needs to be tempered by a Minister who can stand up to it.
Does that mean that someone might be actually able to concentrate soley on the bullying going on?
At least now she might actually be able to do something about the damned health system.
Shes had a lot on her plate, what with her finger in too many pies, making a real meal of them all.
