A woman has died while skiing at Perisher Ski Resort in the Snowy Mountains this morning.
A NSW Police spokeswoman said emergency services were called around 10:30 am after reports a person was injured. The woman was treated by paramedics but died at the scene.
“Initial enquiries suggest the person suffered a medical episode and the incident was not being treated as suspicious,” the spokeswoman said.
Perisher Ski Resort said the local alpine community was “saddened by the tragic death”.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to the lady’s family and friends,” the statement said.
