The Canberra Shanty Club are back on deck for the new year. They’ll be gathering at Smith’s Alternative on Wednesday evening for a community singalong featuring sea shanties, working songs and folk chorus tunes.
Canberra’s Swifties needed to trek up the highway for the Eras Tour, but they’ll be pleased to know that Shake It Off will be making a stop in the capital this weekend. Head to the Hellenic Club on Friday afternoon for this all-ages Taylor Swift tribute show.
Local blues harmonica master Moondog is getting ready for another big year of live performances. Catch him playing a solo set at Dickson Taphouse on Sunday afternoon.
