Death in Greenway case non-suspicious: police

UPDATE: ACT Policing is treating the death in Greenway yesterday as non-suspicious.

ACT Policing will now prepare a report for the ACT Coroner.

EARLIER REPORT:

ACT Policing is investigating the circumstances surrounding an unidentified body found in Greenway this afternoon.

Police are at the scene and in the process of determining the cause of death and the identity of the body.

Anyone who may have information that could assist police should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website. Information can be provided anonymously.

Well, if you want to split hairs I was wrong but the Canberra Times didn’t say the whole story which was covered in the OP as follows:

Perhaps a homeless person camping out who fell asleep and was burnt by something like a small camp fire or cigarette.
