Police reveal identity of man found dead in Wanniassa

Police have released more information as they investigate the discovery of a man’s body on a footpath near the Erindale Shops.

The man has been identified as 54-year-old Randy Booth, who was discovered deceased on a path near Bussau Close in Wanniassa earlier this month.

Police have remained tight-lipped on any further personal information about Mr Booth, but have renewed their call for witnesses or anyone who has information that could help investigators.

“This includes anyone that was in the vicinity of Bussau Close, Wanniassa, between 9 am and 1 pm on Friday, 3 March,” a statement said.

“Police would also like to speak with anyone who had contact with Mr Booth prior to his death on 3 March 2023.”
