â€˜1 in a 100â€™ is a powerful new multi media production at the Street Theatre. The play takes
audiences on a compelling journey into a young manâ€™s mind, to the place where the borders
are shifting and battle lines are drawn.
Written by award winning playwright, Mary Rachel Brown, â€˜1 in a 100â€™ is a
bittersweet portrayal of the impact of schizophrenia on the relationship between mother (Sue)
and son (Simon).
Starring AFI and Logie winner Tracy Mann as Sue and brilliant new talent Lindsay Farris as
â€˜1 in a 100â€™ is a moving and at times very funny look at how two people cope when
the unexpected happens and their lives and relationship are suddenly turned upside down.
Directed by Carol Woodrow, one of Canberraâ€™s most respected Directors, â€˜1 in a 100â€™ will be
performed at the Street Theatre from 5th to 23rd June 2007.
