The Health Directorate’s latest newsletter does make one wonder who the Chief Minister has upset.
But moving on from that down on page 22 there’s an interesting piece on research by the ACT Chief Health Officer Paul Kelly on the dangers of influenze on airline flights:
“The study demonstrates that limiting the high risk contact zone on international long-haul flights to two seats in front, two seats behind, and two seats on either side of passengers infected with influenza may increase the chance of identifying those exposed to the illness and thus bring greater efficiency to public health action related to exposure on aeroplanes,” Dr Kelly said.
So keep an eye out for those snifflers.
