224 Army Cadet Unit (Canberra)is now recruiting new members The Australian Army Cadets (AAC) is a youth development organisation sponsored by the Australian Defence Force, dedicated to providing opportunities for all young Australians to obtain comprehensive personal challenges and growth, enhanced self-esteem and self-discipline, and adventurous enjoyment in a military setting. 

AAC Activities include:Fieldcraft, Navigation, Leadership, Military History & Traditions, Adventurous Training and First Aid 

 Information Presentations for Parents and prospective Recruits will be held at HMAS Harman (Cadet Precinct) starting 7pm, Monday nights4 Feb, 11 Feb & 18 Feb 2008

The Canberra Air League used to be pretty popular, and well-run. Fed a few kids into the various forces when they left school, too.

Wow you guys are all extremely disrespectful…

I was in the Naval Reserve Cadets when I was younger and I would recommend it to anyone with teenagers.. Teaches them disipline. And teenagers these days could do with some, instead of hanging around shopping centres every Friday night

what sort of half-ars’d military won’t let you fire weapons and kill people?? after all, it says ‘…in a miltary setting.’
