A few months ago, Canberra Artist Karin Maier created a work a day for 30 days and gave them all away. In its madness, this project crossed countries and time zones and went from Canberra to Japan and back. You can see how Karin did this on Facebook.
The exhibition “30 Days of give and take” is to be held at the Front Gallery, Lyneham from November 26 until December 2. Ms Maier’s show, set to be launched on the evening of 27 November, brings together a unique blend of new-media, printmaking, and photographic works primarily drawn from her recent online exhibition featured exclusively on the social networking website Facebook.
