but I only got one laugh at the show – bloke, your not meant to be cracking the jokes, your meant to be watching them do them.

Yes, far be it for anyone to have reasonable expectations and not have them met. You should all enter a soporific slave state like CanberraResident suggests.

I love Chas’s Internet Dating bit – it was hilarious.

If you walk in with a negative mindset … you’ll walk away displeased. If you walk in with a positive mindset … you’ll walk away happy. You are in control of your thoughts, feelings and experiences. You tell yourself it’s crap, it will be.

To the heckler … smile mate, it’s not that difficult, and besides, you’ll live a more fulfilling, happy and productive life if you do.

I went to the very first show and loved it. I am going again in May. Didn’t happen in my show. Certainly the guy needs to get a sense of humour. If people don’t like the chaser or their style of comedy… Don’t go. You paid $50 for a show that you are not going to enjoy.

So…why did you bother going?

I’m sure it’s some peoples humour, but I only got one laugh at the show – and it was more at the subject than the joke. Mind you I’m not a fan of their show either. The group just reminds me of when I’d piss around with my uni mates. It was hilarious to have a few beers and act like idiots back then. And still would be. But a whole show? Nah, I wasn’t pissed, I’m not at uni anymore and it wasn’t scripted very well (pub jokes are great in pubs – but a little more intelligence is needed for a road show). But to each their own.
