Actually, it will.

I have a few different bus routes available within a reasonable walking distance from my home; if I miss my intended (closest) bus I can usually find an alternative bus route that will take me where I need to go.

Even if I didn’t have these alternate routes available to me, I would sure appreciate knowing for certain if I’ve missed the bus rather than standing around at the bus stop for 15 minutes debating whether or not to make other transport arrangements.

I for one welcome a Utopian bus future!!

hooray. now we need an app that will also tell you when the bus is full and the driver is going to go right past leaving you stranded on the side of the road.
