The National Capital Authority (NCA) invites public comment on a draft Development Control Plan (DCP) to guide future development at the Snowy Hydro SouthCare site in Hume.
The NCA has received a request from Cox Architecture to amend the current DCP (171/00/0003) for Part Block 16 Section 18 Hume. If approved, the amended DCP will guide development of the site as a multipurpose emergency services precinct. This will include a Snowy Hydro SouthCare Administration Building. The draft DCP has been prepared within the framework of the National Capital Plan and the Territory Plan.
An advertisement is in The Canberra Times today, inviting public comment.
The draft DCP can be downloaded at www.nationalcapital.gov.au/haveyoursay, or viewed at the NCA reception.
A public information session will be held on Wednesday 2 October, 2013 between 12.00pm and 1.30pm at the NCA Offices.
