Took this at the entrance to my apartment block’s parking. Tradesmen park like this in both entrances on an almost daily basis.

This group of cars – mostly P platers – have been driving across the pedestrian area of Woden Town Square to park all day near the Oxygen cafe stairs for the past couple of weeks. Sometimes see tradies utes around the area if they are doing shop renos but not these cars…
Pic from a while back at Mawson. Contrary to what you would assume, the BMW was parked first, THEN the Corolla came along and joined the piss poor parking party. The dude in the ute then squeezed into his spot, with about 5mm of gap between his rims and the kerb to the right.

Tosser in the white ute was parked blocking the pedestrian thoroughfare through the Majura Park car park at lunchtime. Car park was less than quarter full at the time.
Saw half-dozen or so mothers with prams attempting to navigate around the car, so hope he picked up a few scratches.
9. Taninaus found what may be the largest piece of poor parking this week:
This ‘gentleman’ decided that the middle of the limited and very busy Gartside st parking in Erindale was perfectly suitable while he got his Kingsley’s dinner on Friday night. His abuse as he came out to move it was a sight and his sense of entitlement to block the traffic just confirmed that he was what we thought.

Adequate parking around the skatepark on a Sunday morning; but who wants to *walk* the additional 20m.

Seen in an access to Westfield Belconnen (which perpetually does not have enough parking for weekends).

The truck was parked in a no standing zone facing the wrong direction, forcing traffic to cross
over the centre line to get past in Tuggeranong.
And of course – the cheap chemist at Woden.

Saw this one this morning (23rd). Woden long stay car park, ‘teaching’ a learner to reverse parallel park into the no stopping while everyone is trying to get past them to park for work. No wonder people don’t know how to drive look what they are getting taught.
