By this time you have probably been exposed to those rubber wristbands that are currently all the rage in charity fundraiser merchandise (I’ve been snapped by a breaking one and it bloody hurt so I don’t like them much, but that’s beside the point).

Well St Edmund’s College (aka Eddies) have commissioned their own personalised ones and are selling them to all the students and giving the proceeds to a particular charity.

The one my contact was wearing was tricolour with blue, white (the two Eddies colours) and pink sections. He told me they also come in solids of those three colours (and that he had wanted a pink one but was unable to get it).

And the text? EDDIES (heart) supports breast cancer research.

Nice choice of charity for an all boys rugby school.

What? Insane coffee drinkers?

Well, your stereotype is correct for this ONE audience member, lets check the rest shall we?

well that certainly confirms my stereotypes of the 2CC audience.

Usually through spiilage or experimentation of new drinking methods.

I average 4-6 cups a day…and I’m a self-declared insane person, I wonder if there is any connection?

And how exactly does one’s wrists end up in one’s coffee?

(Unless a large amount of LG’s cab sav is involved?)

I don’t drink coffee at lunch either – I prefer cab sav. I’ll take a dozen.

well I guess so Spectra. But then, I don’t drink coffee.

Kerces: that rather depends on just how strong you take your coffee, doesn’t it? 🙂

Sam, RUBBER wrist bands? of course they’re coffee-proof!

If it’s coffee proof (my lunchtime drink of choice) then I’m all for it.

Any takers for THE-RIOTACT.COM (heart) supports heavy drinking at lunchtime ?

And how much would you be willing to pay?

Ours, of course, would be in fetching blue, white, and yellow.
