Weekend Cafe Hot Spot: Cafe Gaudi, Westfield Woden

This café has been closed down for a few weeks now. Not surprising considering the lack of quality in the food. I only ate there once – the staff were very polite but the food was very much a let-down. A shame really as this is a prime area for a good café!

Rubbish cafe.

Ordered cinnamon toast for my daughter and it was toast covered in pure cinnamon, no sugar mix. Was not even edible.

i also find gaudi unsettling with the thoroughfare betwixt the dining area and the kitchen – and yes, woden is crying out for a decent eatery; this front location would be great, and better if mebbe they popped a coffee machine in the main seating space. a bit of a wasted location.

plus an ughh to cold ham in a hot dish. very poor.

This as you can imagine turned my eggs from hot to look warm and to be honest spoiled the whole dish.

I think perhaps you mean lukewarm.

I definitely think you’re right, the only thing keeping them afloat is their location! Such a shame because the plaza could really do with a decent cafe!
