At the end of the day the site is worth what someone would actually offer for it. Which to date is nothing.

Having said that our own estimates of value were in the same ballpark as this number.

Which is moderately interesting.

Anyway we offered you all free beer earlier in the month and didn’t have to give much away.

From what I can gather, because this valuation system is powered by the Technorati system, if you get a couple of hundred blogs that no-one reads to just link to you, your value will go through the roof even if your traffic doesn’t. It’s ripe for the stacking if you want to create a few hundred fake blogspot accounts.
