A man has died after a single-vehicle crash on Dookie Street in Farrer this morning.
Investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the collision, which occurred after the vehicle collided with a tree.
ACT Ambulance Services attended the collision but unfortunately could not revive the man and he later died. He was the sole occupant of the car.
While police are noting this as the eighth fatality on Canberra’s roads this year (and the the second fatality in less than 24 hours after a 31-year-old man was killed in a collision yesterday), a determination is yet to be made as to whether this was a road fatality or the result of an unrelated medical condition.
This will be a matter for the Coroner.
