Most people have heard of Bollywood – the Indian answer to the American movie making machine.
I went and saw The Merchants of Bollywood last night at the Canberra Theatre. Damn it was good.
High energy dancing, flamboyant outfits, bit of a story, comedy and audience participation.
For the guys – lots of perky little chicks in little outfits and bells.
For the girls – lots of really buff guys not wearing shirts.
Price tag – $70 normally, we got our tickets as part of a group discount for $60. Not too bad for a night at the theatre.
All in all a great night out and a great show.
