Online shopping internationally - How to ship to Australia?

Sorry for the late reply. I’ve only ever used hopshopgo for Amazon. I usually go for the free shipping. These mail proxy places are usually quick, but always allow a few days extra for them to receive the package and then you need to log in and pay for shipping to Australia. Hopshopgo also will bundle multiple parcels together for shipping to Australia for a fee.

I actually got a swiss army knife from amazon and Adobe premiere on special from the US, because both are generally geo priced and in the swiss armyknife case, not available in Australia.

Nice. There’s a heap of stuff I search that Amazon have great prices on and/or simply are not available here but they won’t ship to here. It almost seems like a daily occurrence. It won’t be long before I use it.

My original post came about when DHL quoted me ~$AU400 for two pairs of shoes sent to Canberra from Oregon, US…seems at the current exchange rate plus freight these types of purchases are not that prudent economically unless you’re happy to pay overs…

Shopmate is very unreliable (google reviews if you doubt my wisdom). Shipito is great, though.

I’ve used shipito.com for years to overcome vehicle parts distribution restrictions.

Just make sure you don’t fall foul of regulations as to what can be sent from the US – I believe food items aren’t allowed.
