This Sunday crowds will be flocking to Canberra’s newest suburb, Throsby to celebrate the last weekend of the season at Throsby Winter Wonderland!
While the spectacular 300sqm outdoor ice rink, complete with real snow and skate hire is the major attraction, the FREE community event will also give kids the chance to meet Olaf and Elsa from Disney’s Frozen, enjoy an assortment of rides from mechanical snowboards to giant jumping castles, while the younger family members can visit the petting zoo or enjoy face painting and balloon animals.
The family-friendly event offers much more than a simple skate. Visitors can kick back with some delicious treats from a range of Canberra’s local food vans while listening to live music and entertainment.
There is something for the whole family at Throsby’s Winter Wonderland this weekend.
This one-day only event is 3 Property Group’s latest community project which aims to encourage locals to visit some of Canberra’s exciting and upcoming neighbourhoods.
Earlier this year the Property Developer also hosted Greenway’s Open-Air Cinema which brought crowds to the beautiful bushland overlooking the Brindabellas.
