Policy makers: If you’re not going to get it off the streets then legalise it. Preferably dexamphetamine which is incredibly low toxicity (compared to the effective dose), affects the mind more than the body and has a long history of safe long-term medical use.

If it can be put on the PBS for children who won’t focus in boring classes then it can be made available to addicts who are only going to get into trouble otherwise.

Completely agree here. Violent offences should be punished far harsher.

I would have thought that he would have just not provided a TFN for the fake employee. Sure, you pay the highest tax rate, but it isn’t like it was his money?

The company on the other hand should have done the occasional check of the their database for duplication of things like TFNs and account numbers, as it is something that can happen pretty easy by accident, but also would have turned them onto this little scam.

The really trick would have been for him to set that false employee up, then quit himself….
