London’s Telegraph, amongst many others, is reporting on the triumph at Royal Ascot of Queanbeyan horse, “Takeover Target”, bought for a song by the taxi driving caravan park resident, Joe Janiak.
I like Joe’s assessment of the magnitude of his triumph: “Janiak reckoned it couldn’t have been that difficult if he’d done it.”
