The Canberra Times beating up an issue? Surely not!

Seems like a few ‘reporters’ wanted to make an issue where their wasn’t one. Interesting in an issue (Sunday) where a Jack Waterford editorial told us all about how things have changed in his time at the Times – but neglected to tell us how the Sunday Times became more tabloid – & not ONLY in size 😉

i agree Dj – the cars were no better this year. nothing that really jumped out.

i was also pissed off that several top cars were not shown until late friday night for some reason.

i dony want to denigrate the folks who spent $$$ and hundreds of hours on their car because there were some great rides there, but the TOP standard cars were missing.

something needs to be done.

if i was chic henry id head to sema and try and encourage some of the us aftermarket companies to take a stand at summernats. too many of the stands at present are same ol same ol.

I’d say he was right. Crowds were down in the City on Thursday to Sunday and although there were more than enough idiots in Braddon nothing that interesting happened – I’m sure the CT could dredge up a few folks who disagree but that would be typical of them not being able to accept that the Police had things in control.

IMHO the cars are not improving and the crowds reflect that. Who wants to see doof doof wankers in their fully hectic imported cars with oversized DVD screens and seats fully reclined…. I must be getting old.
