Kyle Sandilands says Canberrans lack personallity

Ill throw the challenge out to Kyle Sandilands – any PCYC of his nomination – (Within reasonable distance, keeping in mind he has a lot more of a travel allowance than me) – any time – to go 9 rounds (probably less) in the ring.

No other reason than he shits me to tears – and that was well before the canberra comments.

As for idol – Whose Idol ? Not Australias.

We will see how big he (thinks he) is when it comes to not using his mouth – actions speak louder than words Mr Sandilands.

Maybe RiotACT can stand to make some money off this…

Kyle is still an asshole Stan. He has no idea what he is supposed to talk about so he makes up for it by trying to offend everyone.

Regardless….ain’t interested in idol. Too much corp BS and not enough of what makes music great.

I’m no Sandilands fan (is anyone?) but I think the reporters taken a bit of a liberty by intepreting the quote “some people” as meaning “many Canberran”.

Oh noes, does that mean no-one’s going to vote for Canberra in Australian Idle?? what ever will we do?

Anyway, I would kind of take that statement as a compliment – it means that Canberrans, by and large, aren’t suitable to be brainless corporate whores who serve only to entertain brainless consumer whores. Our musicians are quality musicians, and when they win competitions (eg, Cathy Petocz winning the Triple J Unearthed Flesh it Out comp) they win competitions run by organisations that cater to people who listen to music because they like music, not because their brand gods tell them to.

This twit has a beard, a ‘fauxhawk’ and a gut. If I was his age I’d be embarrased presenting a package like that to the public at large.

I’d hardly call what Idol gives you a ‘career’. Unless singing to a room 1/2 full of anaesthetised pensioners at the Twin Towns Services Club counts for something

Kyle Sandilands is an ignorant fat dickhead, and its beyond me how he ever got famous in the first place. Maybe if i go on the radio and spout drivel and act like a complete tool ill get a job like him.

Harsh as the comment is, Canberra IS a fairly sanitised kind of place compared to other (larger) cities. Personally that’s one of the things I like about Canberra.

Apparently Dicko is back this year – I can imagine him putting Kyle in his place. I say imagine, because I’m unlikely to watch much of it.
