Light the Night - Glebe Park Canberra

The Leukaemia Foundation holds a national Light the Night function each year to raise awareness of Leukaemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma. This year will be the third year it has been held and Canberra’s venue is Glebe Park. It is supported by a nationwide media promotion and this year is being held on Wednesday the 21st September from 5.30 – 8.00 pm.

In brief, it is a family night, where there will be entertainment, events and an MC will ensure the evening runs smoothly. Part of the night’s program is where everybody walks the perimeter of Glebe Park holding lanterns, provided by the foundation, in the three colours of blue white and gold. The three colours represent those who are survivors, current patients and supporters/families.
