Unfortunately, a lot of Germans really liked this type of music in the 30s. The marching band part, I mean, unless they invaded Poland to the ‘raunchy beat’ of Shaggy’s Mr Boombastic.

Records are fragile and heavy, so postage costs are very high. Rather than charge $10 shipping per record on eBay, I’d much rather offer local DJs/collectors the chance to rummage through the crates. It’s not about making money. It’s about finding people who will appreciate the records. While these tracks may be a few years old, they aren’t Vinnies bargain bin material just yet. About 100 progressive house and breaks records in very good to near mint condition.

Not really, just these days people listen to music through shitty compact apple products with crap earbuds and reduce the quality of the music in order to save space. I’m sure if you did a proper scientific test, you wouldn’t be able to tell any difference. Vinyl’s are only popular because of hipsters, nostalgia and DJs who want to learn the basics

I wouldn’t say vastly inferior digital sound, because digital audio formats are capable of going up to 24bit/96khz that matches the studio master.

Unfortunately it’s got nothing to do with sound quality for a lot of new buyers, otherwise DVD-A/SACD wouldn’t have died to quickly. (Not that I’m complaining, Fleetwood Mac Rumours that I imported from Germany on DVD-A is now selling for around $300 used, not bad for a $30 buy). It’s different and vintage so they’re buying.

Would love the music industry to start releasing digital music in 24bit but they’re barely getting over allowing 256k AAC instead of 128… a moot point given people P2P it anyway.

Try Artsound they are currently asking for people to donate unwanted cds and vinyls to be sold at one of their fundraising events. Vinyl still has the best sound so hopefully someone will get as much pleasure as the previous owners.
