I’ve had my car broken into and, on a separate occasion, my number plates stolen, from a unit-complex basement garage too. 🙂

just a general statement.

And as for me “publicising how to get past them [locknuts]”, NoImRight, clearly you have something against educating people in understanding how little some common countermeasures actually do.

Maybe I’ll go reprimand my old man for showing me at a young age how to get my keys out of my locked car with a coat hanger.

You should scout out mechanic workshops or takeaways where someones twitching and swearing.

Wow, caught me on a technicality there with my spelling.

However, the culprit obtained the oily fingerprints whilst changing the tyres and then placing his hands on the boot of my car. I’m not willing to make any statements, though, as their state of mind when they left shredded tyres, or what made them do what they did.

And yes, I now have wheel lock nuts.

And it was done on the Northbourne Avenue corridor, so quick and easy for the culprits to get away.
Good luck to whoever owns the car in getting the issue rectified. It’s a pity it happened.

How rude, blocking it up on the discs.. every courteous wheel thief knows to place the cinder blocks under the jacking points.

Luckily they left the monster tacho so the owner can still see when it approaches the 3k red line.
