How could we not share this exciting news from the Master of Conflict:
BAD!SLAM!NO!BISCUIT!’s Master of Conflict Joel Barcham is one of Canberra’s foremost people that lives in Canberra. He is also a bit of a nerd. He enjoys trivia, but knows nothing about sports or geography or the music of Ludwig Beethoven. He’s not even sure Ludwig was Beethoven’s name; maybe he’s getting his composers mixed up. He doesn’t care.
What he does know is a bunch of nerdy things about Mario, Spiderman, and the Russian Space Program that rarely come up in other people’s trivia nights.
He also once won an Australia Day award for excellence in Science Communication and really wanted to engineer an event where it would be relevant for him to brag about this fact.
There was only one real way to marry these two ideas together.
NERD TRIVIA! Starts at 7 on the last Tuesday of the month at the PhoenixPub Canberra. Presented by Aprils Caravan, hosted by Joel Barcham.
Come by 7ish, bring your adventuring party and make sure to multiclass in skills such as SCI-FI, FANTASY, COMICS, HORROR, VIDEOGAMES, MOVIES, MYTHS, SCIENCE and all sorts of general POP-CULTURE-ness!
