ANZAC Parade southbound shuts down

As the ancient Chinese curse allegedly goes, “May you live in interesting times.” Who could forget the NCA’s last great road job? The Limestone/Anzac roundabout and extension/upgrade from a single lane to a, well, single lane?

The other choice would be ACT Gov and their flagship effort, the Glenloch Interchange, and its shabby alignments, breaking up surface, and multiple lane markings causing grief at night and in the wet.

IIRC it is getting to it’s end of life and they are doing a total surface refresh down it it’s full depth so it last another 20 years of heavy usage.

I think I too am clever enough to work my way around this, my question is how many people are going to be thinking the same route and how many people who haven’t thought it out are going to get in the way!?!?!?!

I like the implication that the only motorists that use ANZAC Pde are those commuting to work.

Seriously, it doesn’t sound patronising to me. They could say nothing I suppose, then get the inevitable “and what are we supposed to do” complaints.
