Paradigm, organically, pod, pie in the sky?

“Overall pod based architecture delivering predictability”

Spare me your psychobabble.

Still, some pretty cool shots in that video.

Is that like Big Bang Theory’s “everything is better with Bluetooth added”?

Power to you (pun) for the effiency drive.
Would you like to talk about helping build a little solar farm on the northside?

Pipes are insulated Al, the exterior you see is there to hold the insulation in and make it look all shiny. This is to meet the ‘shiny is good, shiny is very good’ rule of aesthetics.

Righto – makes perfect sense then. RAIDing network cards brought up some intriguing ideas…
On the video, wonder whether the chilled water would be more efficient if the piping was insulated?

It looks like it is insulated and sheathed. The sheathed look makes it look uninsulated if you know what I mean….
Under BCA requirements the building would not have passed inspection if the pipework was not insulated.

Isn’t that “NICs”?

No no, I meant *nix.

See: Unix-like on wikipedia
A Unix-like (sometimes shortened to *nix to circumvent trademark issues) operating system…

According to those in the know whom utilise DC space in Canberra, the pods are ridiculously expensive and the savings in power are chewed up by “optional” services that aren’t really optional.

Isn’t that “NICs”? 😛

Oomph, that’s the stuff that gets my excited. I love to RAID my *nix.
