Mother’s Day afternoon tea. Sunday May 8th. 4pm.

I’ve selected wonderful melodies that celebrate the love affairs that will live for ever: Romeo and Juliet, Casablanca, Caesar and Cleopatra, Lancelot and Guinevere, Leslie Howard and Ingrid Bergman in “Intermezzo”, Omar Sharif and Julie Christie in “Doctor Zhivago”. I’m interspersing these great love songs with a great variety: novelty songs; opera highlights; Scottish and Irish songs; instrumental favourites. This concert has something for everyone, and a lot of nostalgia.
