Police have arrested a man accused of robbing a Mitchell bottle shop at knifepoint a fortnight ago.
Mitchell Lloyd Jacka did not apply for bail when he appeared before the ACT Magistrates Court on Friday (1 March).
He was charged with three offences over the alleged incident on 16 February – assault occasioning actual bodily harm, possess an offensive weapon with intent (namely a silver-bladed knife) and aggravated robbery.
He’s been remanded in custody to appear before the courts again on 21 March.
His arrest comes after ACT Policing made a public appeal for his whereabouts.
