ACT Government employee to face court on bribery charge

An ACT Government employee will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Thursday, 3 May) charged with bribery after a three-month investigation by ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations Team.

ACT Policing said that a 38-year-old Kaleen man was investigated after allegations were made of bribery and corruption.

The man was arrested and conveyed to the ACT Watch House where he was formally charged with bribery.

Investigations are ongoing and police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
