The ACT has recorded 1320 new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8 pm yesterday, including 629 identified by PCR and 691 by rapid-antigen tests (RAT).
There are now 30 people in hospital, including three in intensive care with three being ventilated.
This brings the number of active cases in the ACT to 3316. Yesterday there were 1125 new cases.
The number of ACT residents aged 12 and over who are fully vaccinated remains steady at 98.6 per cent while 28.2 per cent of ACT residents aged over 18 have received a booster shot (as at 14 January 2022).
NSW has recorded another 48,768 new cases and 20 deaths in the last 24 hours.
Victoria recorded 25,526 new cases and 23 deaths.
