ACT records seven new COVID-19 cases

The ACT has recorded seven new cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8 pm yesterday. One of the new cases is a close contact of the Omicron case announced yesterday. Genomic sequencing is currently underway.

There are a total of six active and cleared cases in ACT hospitals as of 8 pm yesterday, including three in intensive care.

A total of 1,334 negative tests were conducted in the 24 hours to 9 am today. There are 119 active cases in the ACT.

Of the Territory’s 12-plus population, 97.9 per cent are now fully vaccinated (as of 3 December).

In NSW there are 325 new cases and one death.

In Victoria, there are 1,365 new cases and nine deaths.
