There are a lot of amazing causes to support in the ACT and if you have a heart and time there is no shortage of deserving places where you can volunteer and contribute.
One such worthy local organisation is Alzheimer’s Australia ACT and they are organising a sumptuous Business Breakfast on Tuesday 29 August at the AIS Arena, called “Gather ‘Round the Table”. If you’re a foodie (which is like, every second person in Canberra) you’ll be excited to hear that the special guests at the brekky are world famous Australian foodies Maggie Beer and Ngaire Hobbins.
One of the focuses of the brekky will be celebrating our local produce and Pialligo Estate is donating their award-winning bacon and Bumnuts is donating delicious free-range eggs for the breakfast!
Maggie and Ngaire will talk at the breakfast, ably interviewed by Adam Shirley, about the work of the Maggie Beer Foundation, the importance of good food and nutrition, and the vital role they play in sustaining every facet of our lives.
