About Elias Hallaj
In 2014 Elias Hallaj (aka CBRfoodie) started a food blog and twitter account to share tips about cheap eats in Canberra. The blog was basically a list designed mainly to practice taking photos and share his recommendations with friends and visitors. In 2015 he also participated in the Canberra Human Brochure project and met about 100 other social media geeks across our fair city. In 2016 he's trying out as a food writer in Australia's best online community-based website - The Riot ACT! Because food blogging/tweeting/writing doesn't really pay any bills he also has a day job (where he's known as Elias Hallaj) working for the Labor Party.
